This page provides uniform standards information as it relates to the use, wear, and display of Department Awards, Ribbon Appurtenance, Recognition Pins, and other uniform attachments such as the Name tag and Unit Designator.

Ball Shall be worn with the bottom edge of the lowest bar positioned approximately 1/8" above the top edge of the wearer's name plate or ribbon bar(s).

Ball The ribbon bar representing the highest award shall be positioned to the wearer's right, as demonstrated in the Ribbon Cluster above, with subsequent ribbon bars in descending order from right to left.
Ball A single ribbon bar will be positioned 1/4" above and centered over the wearer's nameplate and unit designator. Multiple ribbon bars shall be positioned end to end on the same horizontal line as the first ribbon bar. No more than three ribbons shall be assembled in any given row. Additional rows of ribbons shall be positioned 1/8" above the previous row. Whenever there are fewer than three ribbon bars in any given row, they shall be centered over the nameplate or previous row of ribbon bars.
Ball Ribbon bars shall only be worn on the members outer garment, excluding rain wear and the pull-over sweater.

Ball SERVICE STARS - Shall be positioned beginning in the center of a ribbon award and then alternating from the right then to the left of the center star.
Ball OAK LEAF CLUSTER'S - Shall be positioned in the center of the Honorable Mention Award Ribbon.

MEDALS

Ball Shall be worn by sworn members attired in the Class A uniform who are participants at special functions, parades, etc.
Ball Medals are worn in lieu of ribbon bars, and may NOT be worn in conjunction with ribbon bars.
Ball A single medal shall be worn 1/4" below and centered under the unit designator.
Ball  No more than three medals may be worn in a row. A second row of medals shall be positioned 2" below the horizontal line and between the medals of the first row.
Ball  As with the ribbon bars, the medal representing the highest award shall be positioned to the wearer's right with subsequent ribbon bars in descending order from right to left.

Ball Shall be positioned 1/4" above and centered with the wearer's right shirt / outer garment pocket.

Crisis Intervention Team Bar

Ball Shall be worn on the outer garment, centered on the wearer's right breast pocket 1/2" below the pockets finished upper horizontal line.
